Cuban Plate

All you need is a good 25 to 30 min. And this meal can feed up to four people. So here it is...

You will need :
White rice
A cup of water
Vegetable oil
1 can of beans black or red
1 box of Catalina croquettes (I buy the box of 40 in Winne-Dixie)
I small onion
1 small green pepper
A small amount of salt

To get started do get the rice to cook first cause that takes longer to make.
First chop the a small hand of onions and green peppers. Then cook the chopped onion and pepper on the rice cooker with some oil and a bit of salt. Then let is cook for a bit until it starts to sizzle. Once it sizzles you can place the rice as well as the water and let it cook.
Now get the can of beans and chop onions and green peppers and place it in a small cooking bowl. Have that sit and start working on frying the ham croquettes.
You'll need to place the oil on low temperature and wait for it to sizzle and then you can start cooking the yummy croquettes. Make sure they are well cooked, you don't want to burn them nor have then frozen inside 😃.

Then you enjoy the great aroma from the cooked rice with beans while you serve it to you guest or family.

Enjoy 👍

Garlic Rolls

To complete this you will need:

Four medium garlic cloves
½ stick unsalted butter, softened
1 tbsp. olive oil
A loaf of Italian or French bread (any bread that you may like)
4 tsp. garlic paste or 2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)

2 tbsp. Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated (optional)

Step 1: Preheat broiler

Preheat your broiler.

Step 2: Prepare the garlic

Mince the garlic gloves with a knife or put them through a press, and then mash them with the side of a heavy knife blade until they are the consistency of paste.

Tip: You can substitute one teaspoon of garlic paste or one-half teaspoon of garlic powder per garlic clove.

Step 3: Combine garlic and butter

Mix together the garlic, butter, oil, and parsley, if using, until smooth.

Step 4: Spread on bread

Cut the bread in half, lengthwise, and spread the garlic-butter mixture on both halves.

Tip: Sprinkle grated cheese on top if you like.

Step 5: Broil

Broil until golden brown, about five minutes.
